10-day central coast: Hoi An to Cam Ranh
Follow the central coast through Cham heritage, fishing communities, salt landscapes and quieter seaside towns.
Follow the central coast through Cham heritage, fishing communities, salt landscapes and quieter seaside towns.
Travel south from Hoi An and Da Nang through Bình Định, Phú Yên and Ninh Thuận, visiting Cham museums, towers and communities alongside fishing villages, salt landscapes and coastal towns.
The overland route makes the changing geography visible and allows Champa to appear across several regions rather than at a single monument. Longer drives are balanced by coastal stops and lighter afternoons.
Travel from Hoi An to Quy Nhơn and Phú Yên before continuing to Ninh Thuận and Cam Ranh, with Cham heritage, fishing communities and coastal landscapes along the way.
Meet the guide and transfer to the Hoi An hotel. If arrival time allows, take a short old-town and riverfront orientation before a free evening.
Begin at the Museum of Cham Sculpture in Da Nang to see major regional styles and iconography, then continue to My Son and walk through the sanctuary landscape where many of those forms originated. Timing is adjusted for heat and current site access.
Travel south along the central coast toward Quy Nhon, with one stop connected to landscape, trade or Cham history. This is a substantial road day, so arrive with time to check in and rest.
Visit selected Binh Dinh towers together with a museum or nearby historical setting. Moving between the sites, the guide explains the architecture of Vijaya and the geography of the former Cham political centre.
Continue to Phu Yen through a quieter coastal landscape. When timing allows, stop in one village or agricultural area before an early enough arrival for a relaxed evening.
Spend the day along the Phu Yen coast, combining one major landscape stop with a local town, market or livelihood visit according to weather and mobility. Allow enough time at each stop before continuing along the coast.
Travel south toward Ninh Thuan as the landscape becomes drier. Make planned rest stops and one short scenic stop en route before checking in.
Visit selected public heritage sites and a craft or agricultural setting connected with Cham communities in Ninh Thuan. Where a locally coordinated community visit is confirmed, meet hosts during their normal activities; access is arranged in advance and is not treated as a performance.
Complete the overland route to Cam Ranh or Nha Trang, with one final landscape stop when timing supports it. Keep the afternoon free at the hotel or coast.
Transfer to Cam Ranh airport according to the onward flight. Additional coastal nights can be added after the journey if required.

Drive times and road conditions are stated clearly in the proposal.
Quy Nhơn, Phú Yên and Ninh Thuận each receive a full day.
Tower sites and exposed landscapes are timed around the season.
The route can finish with rest without pretending the whole journey is a resort journey.
We will confirm the route, hotel level, inclusions and proposal timeline.
